Welcome, Partner!
The Youth Connected Program helps teens have a safe, supportive, and empowering community where they can thrive.
Thank you for your support of the Youth Connected Program! A partnership with YCP means your ministry has the opportunity to encourage the values of love and family with our community. When you spread the word about our mission, you help us find more potential Collaborative Foster Parents, and that means more connections and love for our youth.

We are proud to announce our partnership with the Youth Connected Program, a local nonprofit focused on creating community and spreading love for teens in foster care.
Have you considered becoming a foster parent? YCP offers a completely unique, community approach to foster care. As Collaborative Foster Parents, you connect with a teen and work alongside their social worker and Samueli Academy teachers.
YCP knows the value of family is SO important for teens as they pursue their education and make healthy social bonds with those around them, and YOU can be part of this!
Will you help us support a teen, build connection, and change a life? Learn more about becoming a Collaborative Foster Parent with YCP at www.youthconnectedprogram.org to learn more and sign up for an info session.

Subject Line: Partnering with YCP
Good morning, [community name]!
We are looking for local communities who can inspire change and help us take action against the rising number of 2,000 youth in foster care in Orange County.
Thats why we’re inviting you to partner with the Youth Connected Program: a Foster Family Agency with a three-part approach, addressing academic needs, socio-emotional skills, and family-centric care for youth in the Orange County area. Families in your congregation have the potential to be a key part of this puzzle by providing a safe home environment and system of support on weekends, holidays, and summer breaks.
I’d love to set up a meeting with you to share more about our program’s community approach to fostering and how your congregation can get involved in making a difference in the lives of teens in foster care.
Letter
Dear [Name],
As an integral part of our Orange County Community , we invite you to partner with our team as we work to make a difference in the lives of our teens in foster care. With our local foster care system continuing to grow to over 2,000 youth, it's more important than ever that we take action and inspire change.
Youth Connected Program addresses this need with a three-part approach that focuses on academic needs, socio-emotional skills, and well-supported foster homes. We understand that it takes a village to raise a child, which is why we take a community approach to foster parenting.
Our team partners with educators, social workers, and mental health experts to provide an innovative support system for teens in foster care and their foster families.
As a congregation, you have an amazing opportunity to be a part of empowering the next generation in your community by becoming a foster parent! Our youth are searching for meaning, connection, and belonging during this really special time in their lives. You can give them all three in one amazing gift: you. Foster parents serve as the main system of support that helps guide teens through their successes and trials with provision, stability, and love.
YCP is a great alternative to traditional foster care for:
1. A single parent wanting to answer a call to foster, but who needs additional support as they do so.
2. A working couple passionate about caring for children, but who’s work schedules make traditional foster care difficult.
3. Empty Nesters who have time to pour into kids in need, but want to serve an age group with more autonomy.
4. Anyone passionate about the next generation getting the care, love, and support they need to change the world for the better!
We are excited to invite you and your congregation to be a part of our efforts to provide teens in foster care with a sense of belonging and hope.
Together, we can create a community where teens AND their foster parents can thrive.
